"“As far as trucking accidents are concerned there are different regulations. We had one accident where the driver was claiming he wasn’t at fault our client stopped short. So what we did was get his manual. The trucking companies have to keep a manifest of where they are, how long they’ve been driving and when they stop. They can’t drive for over a certain period of time. We found out in this case this particular individual had come from back east all the way out here and we knew from adding up the time and the miles that there’s no way he had the proper rest. That help the insurance company look at that and say ‘you know what, they got us, and we better offer them the money to settle the case.”
