We have a free freeway map we send out to people in our area that has a list of questions and answers that you should get. For instance you need the license plate number, the driver number, the owner of the car, their policy number, their insurance company, and so forth. We’ve had people go out and they’ll get a VIN number and they’ll get a whole bunch of information. When it comes down to it we’ll say where’s the telephone number of the person that hit you? And they don’t have it. Or they don’t have the name of the insurance company. I had one individual who came in and he just gave me a policy number. Fortunately we’ve handled so many cases over the years we recognized the insurance company form the policy otherwise it makes it that much more difficult.”
