Toddler in Serious Condition after Dog Attack

Just a few hours north of Los Angeles County, a little girl is in critical condition after she was attacked by a dog last Thursday. The toddler was playing in the backyard at a relative's house, when the family dog attacked her. The owner had to physically restrain the animal until the paramedics arrived. The young girl was rushed to a near by hospital and later transferred to a well known medical center. She remains in critical condition and sustained nearly fatal injuries in the attack. Authorities reported that the dog has been quarantined for 10 days in a Valley Oak SPCA, and the courts will decide if the animal should be euthanized.
