| Train Hits Pick-up Truck and Kills Driver |
Just 30 miles north of Los Angeles an Amtrak train hit a pick-up truck on Monday, March 1, 2010. Authorities say that the
train accident occurred near a private crossing. None of the passengers on the train were injured, but the driver of the truck sustained fatal injuries. He was conscious at the scene after being rescued from the wreckage, but he later dies of his injuries.
