At the transition of the 710 and 405 a serious truck accident caused the interchange of the two freeways to be shut down for over 10 hours. The driver of a big rig carrying marble and granite attempted to avoid hitting another vehicle around 1:30 this morning. As the truck swerved the trailer almost tipped over. The CHP reported that no one was injured in the Long Beach truck accident.
Fortunately the driver in this incident was able to prevent a tragic trucking accident. Many times auto accidents in Los Angeles result in injuries to passengers, drivers, or pedestrians. Reports are released everyday about people suffering brain injuries, abrasions, broken bones, or internal organ damages.
