| 3 Year Old Killed in Pit Bull Dog Attack |
On Saturday January 11, 2010 a little boy died from the injuries he sustained in a dog attack. The toddler was attacked by the family's pit bull. After the attack the dog showed signs of aggression and the county sheriff's department was forced to shoot the animal. The accidental death of the boy and the details surrounding the dog attack are still under investigation. It is unknown if something provoked the animal or if the child was left without supervision.

Research also found that these particular breeds were responsible for 74% of the total attacks reported.
