Just a few hours north of Los Angeles County a teen has been arrested for his involvement in a hit and run accident resulting in the serious injury of 4 people. According to the CHP the young man was driving a Toyota Avalon around 7:30 Wednesday evening when he crashed into a Jeep Cherokee carrying four people. The driver suffered major injuries and had to be air-lifted to a hospital in Fresno. The teenager left the scene of the accident, thus making this a tragic hit and run accident. There is speculation that the teen driver may have been under the influence of alcohol.
Any type of auto accident has the potential of being a tragedy and it is always an unfortunate occurrence. When it comes to a hit and run crash there is a heightened sense of uncertainly and confusion for injury victims and their families because the driver has left the scene without any remorse. In auto accidents involving alcohol, the drunk driver tends to walk away from the accident uninjured. It is sad to think that all other passengers / drivers are usually the ones who are killed or paralyzed in the accident.
