Fatal Van Accident Kills Los Angeles Residents

Wendy Rice,Amanda Post,and Natalie Nield were all killed in a tragic auto accident after an SUV crashed head on into a van carrying local university students. The members of a sports team from California Baptist University were traveling to a training camp in Nevada. In addition to the three women who were killed, 16 other passengers were injured in the van accident.
Reports about the accident said that a Ford Expedition lost control and crossed the center divider. After a head on collision with the van, the SUV caught fire and was hit by another vehicle. Authorities from the California Highway Patrol said that the cause of the accident remains under investigation. The CHP reported that four of the injured victims remain in critical condition and some of them have suffered third-degree burns. Several other victims sustained broken bones, facial injuries and deep cuts.
