| Toddler dies in fatal dog attack |
Severe blood loss resulting from a dog attack is cited as the cause of death for 17 month old Colton Smith. The toddler was being watched at a babysitter's home, when her inlaws' dog in the backyard grabbed the child puncturing a vital artery. Smith was dragged around the yard by the 65 pound dog prior to being released, once the sitter stabbed the dog with a fork.
