Radiation overdose at Cedars-Sinai causes concern for 206 people
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center officials say that a glitch in the system caused 206 people to be overdosed with radiation. This occurred over a year and a half period. The medical center is now accused of not informing all patients of the overdose and not fully disclosing the extent of the problem to those it informed. One patient describes never being told that his hair loss was the result of a radiation overdose or even hearing the word radiation after receiving a cat scan at Cedars-Sinai.

A hospital has a duty to treat patients without causing them harm. Unfortunately due to human error, technical difficulties or simply neglect, things can go wrong in treatment facilities. Los Angeles medical malpractice is very serious and can cause life-long problems. It is important to contact a qualified Los Angeles medical malpractice attorney if you believe that the hospital you were admitted to acted negligently during treatment. Remember, there may be a number of people responsible. Contact our lawyers today for a free case consultation at (800) 715-4489.
