Boy Suffers Multiple Injuries in Dog Attack

Los Angeles dog bites are becoming dangerously common. Just recently a young boy was attacked by two dogs on his way to school. Two Rottweilers attacked this young man early one morning and left him injured with 40 dog bites. A witness was driving by that morning and stopped to shield the boy who was running away from the dogs.
The mother of the boy said that even though his physical injuries are healing quickly, her son is still very emotionally traumatized from the attack. This young boy is more than likely suffering from a great fear to even come near animals, especially dogs. Fortunately he did not sustain brain damage or paralyzing injuries in this horrific dog attack.
According to Los Angeles dog law, the two dogs should be put down and that is exactly what the law has decided in this case. The owner voluntarily gave up their dogs to the Humane Society but it does not free them of their
strict liability as a dog owner. Dog owners in Los Angeles are responsible for any injuries their animal may cause someone.
