Big Rig Crash Closes Freeway East of Los Angeles

On Tuesday November 9, 2010 two big rigs crashed early in the morning causing one to catch fire. The truck accident happened just east of Los Angeles on Route 60, the Pomona Freeway. Both truck were traveling eastbound in the Hacienda Heights area when they collided. The impact of the collision caused one tractor trailer to flip on its side and burst into flames. According to the California Highway Patrol neither truck driver was injured in the accident.
