5 Freeway, 4 Killed in Car Accident

On Monday December 13, 2010 four people were killed in an automobile accident on the 5 Freeway. According to authorities there were several passengers in the vehicle, but not all of them were wearing their seat belts at the time of the car accident. One man was thrown from the vehicle and sustained serious head injuries. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) the men were traveling to work in a mini van when they hit a tire rim on the freeway. The van flipped over and resulted in the wrongful death of 4 men and the serious injury of the other passengers.
